Home News Fayose Set To Dump PDP After Due Consultations
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State on Monday threatened to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after the party’s National Convention.
The opposition party held its presidential primary on Saturday in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, where former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was declared the winner of the party’s presidential primary.
The Ekiti governor hinted that he would renounce his “membership of the PDP anytime from now.”
“After consultations, I will speak clearly to Nigerians,”
It is noticed that, Fayose’s relevance within the party is fast declining after he couldn’t deliver his state to the party as anticipated.
